Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site sets, and why you were not asked about them.
Effective 15 August 2026
01What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the browser on a later visit.
02What this site sets
The public pages set no cookies at all. You can read every word on this site without one being stored.
If a sign-in feature is used later, it will set a cookie that keeps you signed in. That kind of cookie is strictly necessary, it holds a session token and nothing about your behaviour, and it is removed when you sign out.
03Why there is no popup
Consent banners exist to ask permission for tracking. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers, so there is nothing to ask permission for. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
Adding a banner that asks about tracking we do not do would be theatre, so there is not one.
04If that changes
If we ever add analytics or any third-party widget that tracks you, this page gets updated first and the consent question gets revisited before it goes live.
05Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, and block them. Blocking them will not stop you reading this site.
